Patriot Service Dogs depends on donations to achieve our mission of training high-quality service dogs to veterans without charge.
On average, it costs between $15,000-20,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog with a veteran.
At PSD, veterans pay $0 for their service dog.

The General Fund:
Whether a supporter donates $5 or $5,000 to the general fund, it is greatly appreciated by Patriot Service Dogs.
The general fund is our financial workhorse. While our dogs in training are intelligent and well-trained, they still can’t drive themselves to their volunteer puppy raiser’s house. PSD needs trusted, skilled trainers, insurance, gasoline, a phone line, and more. The general fund is behind every dog in training and every veteran.

The Puppy Fund—$2,500

PSD works with several trusted breeders who have proven track record of breeding successful service dog candidates. The Puppy Fund is used to purchase and bring these puppies home to Centra Florida for training.

Donors to the fund will receive a handwritten “thank you,” card from PSD’s President and a welcome letter with a photo of the puppy they helped purchase when he or she arrives. They will also be invited to the puppy’s graduation and given an opportunity to meet its veteran.

Sponsor a Service Dog—$7,500

Sponsorships help cover a service dog’s core training from puppyhood to placement. PSD keeps our sponsorships lower than most organizations, so it is easier for families, individuals, and small businesses to share in the process.

Service dog sponsors are updated on “their” dog throughout the two-year training with notes from the dog’s trainers and photos. Sponsors also help name the dog. Sponsors are invited to the dog’s graduation, given an opportunity to meet the veteran and acknowledged at the ceremony.

Sponsorships cover the costs of preparing a dog for advanced training, starter kits for veterans with dog supplies, and costs during the training program.

Veteran sponsors receive a handwritten “thank you” card from PSD’s president. Along with an invitation to the veteran/service dog graduation, the sponsor will be given an opportunity to meet the veteran and acknowledged at the ceremony.
Memorial Giving
A memorial or honor donation to Patriot Service Dogs is the perfect way to honor a loved one or surprise a friend with a meaningful gift.
Included with these thoughtful donations is a note to the family or person so they are aware of your thoughts. There is a space to include an address and honoree name in the donation form.
